Ronald Lee Hicks, Sr

Elkhart, IN - Ronald Lee Hicks SR, 79, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, Saturday February 14, 2026. He was born August 4, 1946, in Dante, VA, to Raymond O and Emily A (Kennedy) Hicks. Surviving are his 3 Children, Sheila K. (Troy) Wagers of Simpsonville, SC, Kimberly A. (Bill) Kissam of Lebanon TN, Ron L. (Tina) Hicks of Elkhart, IN.; 6 Grandchildren, Jimmy (Brittany Cromwell) Turnmeyer, Brittany Porter, Jade (Nick) Kirkland, Devan Porter, Ian Holdread, Zachary (Madison) Hicks; and 8 Great Grandchildren. Additional survivors include 3 Siblings, Sandra Hicks, Sharon (Hicks) Tucker, and Donna (Pat) Coulahan. Also, surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Ron graduated in 1964 from Castlewood High School in Castlewood, Va. He previously worked at Gunite Corp. for 30ish years, he attended Lincolnwood Baptist Church while living in Machesney Park, IL. He enjoyed Fishing, playing golf, watching most sports, and listening to Gospel music.
