Ronald Johnson Obituary

GRANGER-Ronald G. Johnson, 89, passed away November 29, 2022, from the dehumanizing disease of Alzheimer’s.  He was born November 22, 1933, in Farnam, NE.

  On March 27, 1953, he married Lucille Brezger; she preceded him in death on September 11, 2012.  He was also preceded in death by his parents, J. Arthur & Ethel Johnson, 2 sons, Kim Johnson, Kerry Johnson, 3 siblings, Kenneth Johnson, Gerald Johnson, and Barbara Lau.

  Surviving are 2 daughters, Tonda (Gary) Lowell, Valerie (Richard) Parcell, foster son, Michael Neal, sister, DeEtta “June” Williamson, 7 grandchildren, Trina (Paul) Groves, Jeff (Traci) Parcell, Tammy Parcell-Bowyer, Shawn Johnson, Kimber Johnson, Erik Johnson, and Kyle Johnson.  Additional survivors include 6 great-grandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, 5 step-great-great-grandchildren

  Ronald owned InsulKor Inc. for over 20 years and previously worked at Conn-Selmer and Skyline.  He was a lifelong member of Augustana Lutheran Church, member of the Moose Lodge for 42 years, Boy Scout Troop Leader #71, and a Pinochle Club for 45-years.

  Per his wishes cremation will take place and a celebration of life service will be held in the spring of 2023.

  Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association or to Augustana Lutheran Church.
