Ronald "Ron" Boulanger Obituary

Ronald “Ron” E. Boulanger, 78, passed away October 16, 2020 at his home in Cassopolis surrounded by his family. He was born January 4, 1942 in South Bend to the late Herman & Fabiola (Turek) Boulanger.

On April 22, 1967 he married his best friend and love of his life, Martha Helser; she survives along with 2 children, Steven Boulanger and Michele (Scott) Kilgore. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, Ashley Claeys, Abbey Kilgore, Chance Boulanger, 5 great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Caleb, Alivia, Ellie, Cylas and 1 brother, Michael (Alice) Boulanger.

Ron was a U.S. Army Veteran, member of the VFW in Edwardsburg and Our Lady of the Lake Church in Edwardsburg. He was a hardworking man that enjoyed taking care of his land, woods and creek near his home. He was an avid Notre Dame fan and enjoyed fishing and ice cream. Ron was a humble and kind man that was devoted to his family and truly showed his family how much he loved them. They will forever cherish his memory and hold onto the love they have for him.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
