Rosemary Willett Obituary

Rosemary Willett, 91, passed away peacefully at the Center for Hospice Care—Raclin House on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. She was born on November 11, 1933, in Lakeville, IN, to the late Vernon and Gladys (Ranstead) Fisher.

On March 20, 1954, she married Robert "Bobby Jack" Willett, who preceded her in death. She lived her entire life in Lakeville, where they raised four children: Debbie Leininger (Bobby) of Lakeville, Cheri Coleman of Delong, Jackie (Jack) Knepp of Bremen, and Jack Jr. of Lakeville. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Sunshine (Ryan) Keeling, Jennifer (Chris) Boling, Tracy Coleman, Jesse Knepp, and Jennifer (Kirk) Hunziker. Rosemary is survived by her great-grandchildren: Dustin, Samantha, Mikayla, Blake, Mikenna, Sienna, Alec, Emmett, Joe, Dakota, Cooper, and Kiley, as well as four great-great-grandchildren. Along with her husband, Rosemary was preceded in death by two infant sons; one infant daughter; grandsons, Tony Coleman and Adam Geyer; two sisters; and six brothers.

Rosemary had a heart of gold. She was the sweetest but did not hold back her opinion. She would give anything she had to help someone in need, even if she went without. She would feed anyone who came to her house hungry. We will miss her homemade noodles and potato salad. Rosemary loved to embroider and repair old quilts. She enjoyed camping, cards, and Yahtzee.

Per her wishes, cremation will take place, and burial will be held at a later date in Fair Cemetery, North Liberty, IN.

Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
