Roy Gene Tittle

Roy Gene Tittle, 79, of Elkhart, IN, passed to his rest on June 14, 2024. He was born on September 2, 1944 in Lynn, Alabama, to Odres and Pauline Tittle.

Roy is survived by his children, Roy C. Tittle, Danielle (Jason) Girten, Christopher S. (Lydia) Jones, and Douglas Jones of Elkhart; sister, Paulette (Douglas) Ellis; brother, Thomas (Bud) Tittle; and a special friend, Jodi Hamsher McClain. Roy is also survived by his grandchildren, Tori (Michael) Rockenbaugh, Christopher S. Jones II, Jenae Tittle, Satarah Tittle, McKenna Jones, Tamaryah Carruthers, Britainie (Matt) Jordan, Blake Jones, and Brady Jones; a few great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Odres and Pauline Tittle; sisters, Virginia Skelton, Lena Butterworth, and Shirley Cole; and granddaughter, Charrdonay Carruthers.

Roy was a proud veteran of the United States Army and was a local truck driver for many years. He loved spending time with his family and friends, just hanging out or enjoying the holidays together. Roy also enjoyed NASCAR, football, and having a drink at the local pub. He will be missed by many.

A celebration of life will be announced in the upcoming weeks. Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with his care.
