Sammie Warner Wisener

BRISTOL, IN- Sammie Warner Wisener, 74, of Bristol, IN, passed away Friday April 12, 2024, at his residence in Bristol, IN.  He was born July 18, 1949, in Lawrenceburg, TN to Fred William & Blanche Lucile (Walters) Wisener.

Surviving is a daughter, Lara Kristine (Marvin) Mitchell of Bristol, IN; 7 grandchildren, Brian Streeter of Bristol, IN, Dylan Streeter of Elkhart, IN, Tyesha Mitchell, Marvin Mitchell, Jr., both of Bristol, IN, Mazio Stevens, Treyus Mitchell, Treyvon Mitchell all of Elkhart, IN; 21 great-grandchildren and 2 siblings, Kay Hildreh of AZ and Tom Wisener of Cullman, AL.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jim Wisener.

Sammie was formerly employed as a truck driver.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and playing Texas Holdem.  Sammie was a US Army veteran serving from 1966 -1971.

Cremation will take place and a celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date.  Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with his care.
