Sammie Warner Wisener

Sammie Warner Wisener, 74, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024, at his residence in Bristol, IN. He was born on July 18, 1949, in Lawrenceburg, TN, to Fred William and Blanche Lucile (Walters) Wisener.

Sammie is survived by a daughter, Lara Kristine (Marvin) Mitchell of Bristol, IN; seven grandchildren, Brian Streeter of Bristol, IN; Dylan Streeter of Elkhart, IN; Tyesha Mitchell, Marvin Mitchell, Jr., both of Bristol, IN; Mazio Stevens, Treyus Mitchell, Treyvon Mitchell, all of Elkhart, IN; 21 great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Kay Hildreh of Arizona and Tom Wisener of Cullman, AL. Sammie was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jim Wisener.

Sammie was formerly employed as a truck driver. He enjoyed spending time with his family and playing Texas Holdem. Sammie was a United States Army veteran, serving from 1966-1971.

Cremation will take place, and a celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date. Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with his care.
