ELKHART-Samuel L. Jackson, 66, passed away April 20, 2021 at his home in Elkhart. He was born June 10, 1954 in Catron, Missouri to George & Ophelia (Hayes) Jackson.

Surviving are 9 children, Evening Starr (Jose) Sanchez, Samuel Z. (Shiane Scott) Jackson, Samantha Trinidad, Anita (Syzane Gashi) Bautista, Johnny Trinidad, Elizabeth (L.W. Wilson) Trinidad, Dominic Bautista, Adam Bautista, Christopher (Tim) Bautista, 18 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and 6 siblings.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 37 years, Ruth (Varela) Jackson, and 2 brothers.

Samuel was an SGI Buddhist that enjoyed watching Westerns and judge shows on television and liked motorcycles. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren most of all.

Memorial contributions may be given to Heartland Hospice.

Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
