Sandra Kay Strukel

ELKHART-Sandra Kay Strukel, 74, of Elkhart, Indiana passed away peacefully at East Lake Nursing Center.

She was born June 9th, 1950, in Elkhart, Indiana to Claude and Alta Wyres.  She was proceeded in death by her mother, father and four siblings-Claude Wyres Jr., Phillip Wyres, Linda Baker and Steve Wyres.
She married Anthony Matthew Strukel Jr. in 1968, but ended in divorce in the early 1980's..

She had two children, Anthony Matthew (Soitana) Strukel III and Kimberly Dawn (Gary) Rowe and three grandchildren, Tara Rowe, Tyler (Shaila) Strukel and Brettney Hines. She also had two great grandsons.

She lived in Elkhart, Indiana her whole life, for the most part.  She made many friends in life and greeted everyone with a smile.  Those who knew her loved her for who she was and the heart she had.

She will forever be missed.  Cremation will take place with no visitation per her request.

Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with her care.
