Sharon Kay Slone

Sharon Kay Slone, 79, of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024, at Greenleaf Health Campus in Elkhart.  She was born on September 26, 1944, in Goshen, Indiana, to Delbert and Mary (Wise) Evans.

On April 27, 1985, in Syracuse, Indiana, she married Bobby Slone. He survives along with six children, Rodger (Billie) Yoder of Charleston, SC; David (Lori) Slone of Elkhart, IN; Deana Morrow of Charleston, SC; Ronni (Jeff) Gouker of Elkhart, IN; Lora (Mark) Weiger of Granger, IN; Karen Slone of Prestonsburg, KY; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Luella.

Sharon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and crocheting. She dearly loved her dog “Chico.”

In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place. Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with her care.
