Sheila Gail Leazenby

MISHAWAKA- Sheila Gail Leazenby, 63, of Mishawaka, died Thursday May 20, 2021 at her residence.  She was born October 25, 1957 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana to Julian P. and Velma J. (Farris) Adkins.

     On April 23, 1983 in Osceola, Indiana she married Kent D. Leazenby, Sr.  He preceded her in death on June 3, 2016 in Mishawaka, IN.  Also preceding in death were her parents, a son Jason Poole Adkins, a brother Ronald Dale Adkins and a nephew Dylan Bailey.  Surviving is a son Kent D. Leazenby, Jr., of Mishawaka; 2 grandchildren Breanne Leazenby and Russell Leazenby;6 siblings Theresa Brown of Springfield, TN, Debbie Jones, Pamela (Mike) Estes both of Osceola, Dewayne (Tina) Adkins, Peggy Stump both of Elkhart, David (Donna) Adkins of Osceola and a host of nieces and nephews.

     Sheila was a homemaker who enjoyed watching and feeding the birds, she loved to bake, and she had a green thumb for growing flowers.

     In keeping with her wishes there will be no services and cremation will take place.  Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with her care.

     The family would like to extend a special thank you to Heartland Hospice for the care and concern for Sheila and her family.
