Sherry L. Starkweather

Sherry L. Starkweather, 61, passed away on December 6, 2024, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN. She was born on February 17, 1963, in Elkhart, IN.

Sherry was preceded in death by her father, Burt Williams; mother, Leona Yoder; and a sister, Ann.

Surviving are two children, William LaGrand, Erick LaGrand; eleven grandchildren, Kiara, Samya, Noah, Emma, Julianna, Billie, Ruqaiyah, Elliana, Braden, Jima, Sabastian; one great-grandson, Hendrix; and two siblings, Lowanna, and Darby.  Also surviving is a daughter-in-law, Destiny, and a best friend, Rebecca. 

Sherry enjoyed doing crosswords, watching “I Love Lucy,” having a good time, being outdoors, spending time at Eagle Lake, but most of all, she adored her grandchildren.  

Per her wishes, cremation will take place, and there will be no services.

Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
