Sheryl June Pendill

Sheryl June Pendill, age 79, of Mishawaka, peacefully passed away in her home on October 11, 2024. Born on February 11, 1945, in Memphis, Tennessee, to the late O.V. and Oadie Chamberlain, Sheryl lived a full and vibrant life.

She is survived by her two children, Chad (Paula) Pendill and Heather Pendill; five grandchildren, Alison, Joshua, Justin, Mikayla, and Sequoia; as well as several great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her two brothers, Jeff and Joel Chamberlain, along with numerous extended family members.

Sheryl devoted over 30 years to her career as a secretary at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, where her dedication and service touched the lives of many. She had a passion for gardening, sewing, interior design, and caring for animals. Her love of nature was reflected in her appreciation for homes on the river, and beautiful gardens.

She was also a proud member of the OC Firefighters Women's Auxiliary Club, where she participated in creating recipe books and organizing toy drives during Christmas to give back to the community.

In accordance with her wishes, Sheryl will be cremated, and no formal services will be held.

Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
