Steven Lamar Ginther, 64, of Elkhart, died Thursday May 27, 2021, at his residence in Elkhart. He was born October 24, 1956, in Elkhart, Indiana to Jess W. and Dolos Jean (Cripe) Ginther.

Surviving are 2 sons, Craig and Chad Ginther both of Elkhart; 5 grandchildren Troy Rayner, Nick Sodeman, Anthony Ginther, Gage Ginther and Melanie Ginther and 2 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is his mother Dolos Jean Dorrier of Goshen and a brother Terry Books of Bristol. He was preceded in death by his father Jess W. Ginther.

Steven was employed as welder for many years. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

There will be no services and cremation will take place.

Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with his care.
