MISHAWAKA-Susan R. Brown, 69, passed away March 31, 2025 at the Center for Hospice Care the Raclin House.  She was born February 7, 1956, in Elkhart.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond & Beverly (Jenkins) Skinner, grandparents, Lester & Gwendolyn Skinner, sister, Sherry Skinner, and a brother, Mitchell Skinner.

  Surviving are 2 sons, Charles “Chuck” Black, Joseph (April) Black, a granddaughter, Clair, a sister, Vickie (David) Lutes, and a longtime companion, Gary Christman.

  Susan was a cabinet maker for many years.

  Per her wishes cremation will take place and there will be no services.

  Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
