SOUTH BEND-Sylvester “Craig” W. Dombkowski, Jr., 77, passed away August 17, 2020 at his home in South Bend.  He was born August 22, 1942 in South Bend.
   He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester W. Dombkowski & Audrey (Skeels) Hamlet and 1 son, Craig Dombkowski.
  On July 14, 2020 he married Kellie (McGary) Waterhouse; she survives along with 1 daughter, Lisa, 6 step-children, Jason Reed, Jacqueline “Corkie” (Rusty) Kedik, Jeannette (Brad) Walz, Bryce (Betty) Waterhouse, Kathryn (Andy) Waterhouse-Barns, Arin (Mary Glasier) Motter, his bestfriend, Justin Campbell, grandchildren, Morgan, Heaven, Ethan, Kaine, Dakota, Dylan, Riley, Jacob, Carlin, Brittney and 2 siblings, Brent Hamlet.
  Craig was a supervisor at Conrail for over 20 years.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, watching movies, listening to music and boat rides.  He will be remembered as a loyal man and a true example of how a man should be.
  A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
  Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
