Ted Deafenbaugh Obituary
ELKHART-Ted Allen Deafenbaugh, 71, passed away September 17, 2021, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. He was born March 16, 1950, in Elkhart.
Surviving is his mother, Ruby Deafenbaugh, a niece, Amanda Rospopo and a nephew, Jeff Whitmer.
He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Deafenbaugh, a sister, Cynthia Bruggner and a fiancé, Vicki Vaughn.
Ted attended Ball State University, was a U.S. Army Veteran and worked for many years at Conrail. He enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles in his spare time.
Per his wishes cremation will take place and burial will be held in Rice Cemetery Friday, October 1, 2021, at 1 p.m.
Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
