Terry A Krieger

NILES, MI-Terry A. Krieger, 62, passed away April 20, 2026, at Niles Care Center.  He was born August 24, 1963, in Buchanan, MI.

  He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Krieger, and a son, Michael Mattox.

  Surviving is his mother, Shirley Krieger, daughter, Rebecca (Cody) Platz, 5 grandchildren, Mikel, Maya, Kairi, Klair, Amelia, a brother, Kurt (Kaye) Krieger, daughter-in-law, Ellen Douglas, numerous other family members, and his beloved puppy, Baby Girl.

  Terry graduated from River Valley High School in 1981 and formally worked at US Steel Gary Works, Royal Adhesives, and Alliance Sheets.  In his spare time, he enjoyed tinkering with cars, playing pool, watching history channel, listening to 80’s Rock, playing video games, watching kids movies, reading, learning new things and was a Michigan fan.  He was a man of few words unless it was something he was passionate about, had a dry sense of humor and absolutely adored his family. 

  Per his wishes cremation will take place and there will be services at a later date. 

  Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
