Terry Schmidt Obituary
OSCEOLA-Terry L. Schmidt, Sr., passed away May 17, 2021 at his home in Osceola. He was born November 25, 1946 in Ft. Wayne, IN to Richard & Marilyn (Borkenstein) Schmidt.
On July 2, 1994 in South Bend he married Linda (Sefton); she survives along with 6 children, Derek (Claudia) Schmidt, Terry “T.J.” Schmidt, Jr., Jeremy (Lisa) Schmidt, Matthew (Whitney) Schmidt, Amy (Bob) Fadorsen, Marcy (Bill) Rensberger, 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are 6 siblings, Rick, Tim, Ted, Tammy, Steve and Suzi.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Martin.
Terry enjoyed fishing, golfing, and playing cards. Family was the most important thing to him and he showed this by celebrating beer-thirty with his sons on Fridays and cooking for his family at gatherings.
A private celebration of life services will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to Heartland Hospice.
Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
