Timothy Carl Horne

With profound sadness, we share the passing of our beloved brother, Timothy Carl Horne, who departed this life on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, in his cherished hometown of Elkhart, Indiana. Born on October 5, 1963, Tim grew up in Elkhart and graduated from Elkhart Memorial High School in 1982. Known for his warm humor and quick wit, he was deeply loved, cherished, and respected by all who had the privilege to know him.

Tim’s enduring love for sports was evident in his passion for Notre Dame football, golf, and frisbee golf, and he enjoyed simple pleasures like gardening, walking, and bike riding. Yet, above all else, his family was his greatest joy and his most cherished treasure.

Humble, kind, and unassuming, Tim found fulfillment in the simple things and never sought the spotlight. He built a successful career as an entrepreneur, retired in his 50s, and remained devoted to the friendships and values that Elkhart had nurtured in him. For Tim, Elkhart was more than a place—it was the heart of everything he held dear.

Uncle Tim will be deeply missed. His love, generosity, and laughter are forever remembered by family, friends, and all who knew him.
