Todd Alan VanKirk

Todd Alan VanKirk (Red), aged 55, of Edwardsburg, MI, passed away on Tuesday, October 24th, 2023, at the Center for Hospice Care in Elkhart, IN, with his devoted fiancée and partner of 17 years, Pamela A. Stuck, by his side. Todd, affectionately known as "Pops" to Nina Stuck and Shane Stuck, was also "Papa Todd" to eight adoring grandchildren who held a special place in his heart. His love for his family was evident to all who knew him. Todd maintained close ties with his extended family and the Myers, his beloved step-family from Oklahoma. Todd found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved pontooning on the lake, often in the company of his grandchildren, family, and friends. Todd enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was an active member of ABATE of Michigan. He was also a proud member of the Edwardsburg Conservation Club, where he discovered a passion for trap shooting competitions. Todd and Pam, his life partner, shared a deep connection with nature, frequently spending time admiring sunsets and observing the various birds and wildlife that frequented their home's numerous feeders. Todd's infectious laughter could light up any room, bringing smiles to the faces of old and new friends throughout the Michiana area. His zest for life was contagious, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Todd's memory will be eternally treasured by those fortunate enough to be a part of his life. His legacy of love, laughter, and friendship will live on in our hearts.
