Vera Gouger-Carte Obituary

CASSOPOLIS-Vera E. Gouger-Carte, 67, passed away June 14, 2020 at Timbers of Cass County.  She was born October 15, 1952 in Tucson, AZ to Wesley & Vera (Swinehart) Gouger.
  On November 29, 2001 she married David Carte; he survives along with 2 children, Shannon Wagner, Sean (Candace) Riggs, 1 stepdaughter, Lisa Kimes, 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 2 siblings, James Gouger and Tina (Roger) Lane.
  She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 stepdaughter, Jennifer Carte and 1 sister, Linda Gouger.
  Vera loved to sit on her front porch, have a good time with friends and family, but most of all she adored her grandchildren.
  Per her wishes there will be no services and cremation will take place.
  In lieu of flowers please send memorial contributions to second chance small dog rescue.
  Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
