Vicky Sue Hahn(Elkins), 69, of Plymouth passed away peacefully on June 8, 2022 at her residence after a long illness, with her loving family around her.
Vicky was born July 29, 1952 in Plymouth, Indiana to Wilma (Smith) Elkins and Fred Wilma and later adopted by Herald Elkins. Vicky was a lifelong resident of Plymouth and grew up here with her siblings: Helen Schooler, Jeanie Linser, and Becky Samuels.
Vicky graduated from Plymouth High School in 1971. There she would meet the love of her life Edward Hahn. They were married on June 5, 1971 and later welcomed two sons: Scott Edward and Franklin Owen.
Vicky loved God, her family and especially her grandchildren. She was an ever-loving presence in her family’s lives with her sweet smile, words of wisdom and gentle disposition. She was a perfect example of selfless love. She had an open home, an open ear and an open spot in her heart for anyone who needed anything.
Her interest and Hobbies were many but none like her affection for chickens; she raised them, she collected them, she just loved them! She also cherished her collection of angels. Her weekends were filled with spending time camping with her family. She loved being surrounded by her grandchildren and great grandchildren while exploring the outdoors. In the summers, you would find Vicky up early scouting out the best garage sales around Plymouth just to find that one great deal.
Vicky is survived by her husband, Edward Owen Hahn and their sons, Scott Hahn of Plymouth, and Franklin (Julia) Hahn of Granger In. as well as her grandchildren; Derek(Jenna) Hahn of Plymouth, Brandon Hahn of Culver, Jace (Tiffany) Hahn of Plymouth, and Anna, Haleigh, Emilee, and Leah Hahn of Granger, along with many great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents Wilma and Herold Elkins and her sister Jenie Linsner (Elkins).
