Viola Pierce Obituary

ELKHART-Viola V. Pierce, 65, passed away January 6, 2021 at her home in Elkhart. She was born February 19, 1955 in Trinidad, CO to William & Josephine (Puterbaugh) Dooty.
In April of 1997 she married Floyd Pierce; he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her dog, Jasper.
Surviving is her daughter, Tina (Joseph) Garcia, 2 grandchildren, Ian (Jessica) Garcia, Jacob Garcia, 3 great-grandchildren, Braxton, Zachary and Xander. Also surviving are 3 siblings, Billy (Kathy) Dooty, Alex (Opal) Dooty and Paula Dooty.
Viola enjoyed working at Goodwill, listening to music, crocheting, drinking coffee and most of all decorating her home.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
