Virginia Krou,96, of Nappanee, IN passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Warsaw, IN. She was born on August 6, 1929, to Lula and Russell Warren in Nappanee, IN. On October 8, 1949, she married Elmer Krou Jr, and they were married for 57 years.
Virigina is survived by her children Debra Pletcher of Winona Lake, IN, Michael Krou (Dawn) of Punta Gorda, FL, Stephen Krou of Hernando Beach, FL, as well as grandchildren Derek Guard, Erin (Kyle) Stickley and Nicole Law, (6) great grandchildren, and (1) great-great grandchild.
Preceding her in death her parents Lula and Russell Warren, husband Elmer Krou Jr, son in Harold Pletcher, grandchild Brett Guard, siblings Margaret, Janie, Jimmy (Joyce) Warren.
Virigina lived most of her life in Nappanee, IN while wintering 29 years in Sebring, FL where she loved playing Euchre and shuffleboard. She graduated from Nappanee High School and South Bend Business School. While she worked at B&B restaurant and Mutschler Bros., she spent most of her career working at Superior, Inc. and the family farm.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place with no services. Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements. A celebration of Life may be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Virigina's memory may be made to the Hospice of your choice.
