Virginia Wyres Obituary

Virginia Mildred Wyres passed away at East Lake Nursing Home in Elkhart, IN, on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. She was born in Elkhart on October 15,1932 to Charles and Mary (Wilms) Sands. She was married for 63 years to Philip Wyres, who preceded her in death in 2014.

Virginia retired from CTS Corp in Elkhart after many years of employment.

Surviving are her daughters, Karen Wyres and Debra Ziolkowski, and grandson, Philip Torres.

Virginia will be laid to rest next to her husband at Rice Cemetery in Elkhart during a private memorial service. Together once again. Forever in heaven.

Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with her care.
