ELKHART-Virginia Mildred Wyres passed away at East Lake Nursing Home in Elkhart, In. on April 9, 2024.

She was born in Elkhart on October 15,1932 to Charles and Mary (Wilms) Sands.

She was married to Philip Wyres for 63 years who preceded her in death in 2014.

Virginia retired from CTS Corp in Elkhart after many years of employment.

Surviving are her daughters Karen Wyres, Debra Ziolkowski, and grandson Philip Torres.

She is being placed next to her husband at Rice Cemetery in Elkhart with a private memorial.
