Walter Bussard Obituary

ELKHART-Walter M. Bussard, 81, passed away January 16, 2022, at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born September 11, 1940, in Elkhart. In October 1964 he married Katherine Ressler; she survives along with 3 children, Robert Bussard, Brian (Tracy) Bussard, Heather Drudge, 8 grandchildren, Errin, Paige, Kaylyn, Zackary, Jaclyn, Lucas, Brook and Gavin. Also surviving are 4 great-grandchildren, 4 siblings, Charles, Connie, William and Sharon.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Bussard, mother, Mary “Louise” Shupp and stepfather, Ormal Shupp.

Walter worked for Continental Industries for over 40 years until his retirement and enjoyed woodworking in his spare time.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
