Wayne H Allen, Jr

Plymouth-Wayne H. Allen Jr., 92, passed away April 28, 2022, at the Center for Hospice Care-Raclin House in Mishawaka.  He was born September 10, 1929, in Chicago to Wayne & Ella (Witt) Allen.

  On November 23, 1985, he married Linda Muffley; she survives along with 2 children, Dave (Martha) Allen, Debi (Chris) West, 1 stepson, David Muffley, 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

  He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Donald Allen.

  Wayne was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry in Laporte for over 60 years.  He collected model trains and volunteered at the Marshal County Museum in the train room in his spare time.  He will be remembered as a kind man that was truly a gentleman in many ways. 

  Cremation will take place and a private service will be held at a later date. 

  Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
