William M Hamilton

We are sad to announce that our father, Bill Hamilton passed away on April 20th. He was 79. While we are mourning his loss, we however, are glad that his debilitating struggle with dementia is finally over.

William Merle Hamilton was born on May 31st 1943 to parents Onie and Altie Hamilton near Harrisburg, Arkansas. He went to High School in Huntington Beach, California where he met our mother, Brenda (Cole) Hamilton who preceded him in passing in 1978.

He is survived by his daughter Cynthia C Shelton (Tony Shelton), son Glenn R Hamilton (Donna Reed-Hamilton) and four grandchildren, Brittney, Ashley, Liam, and Zane.  As well as his brother Jess Hamilton and sister Mary Mogck.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister Merlene McIntosh, and brothers Glen, Clifford, and John Hamilton.

His wishes were to not have a funeral and will be interred at Rice Cemetery in Elkhart next to his beloved wife.

Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
