BRISTOL-Wolodymer “Walter” Hajdaj, 50, passed away September 4, 2021, at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born September 9, 1970 in Edison, New Jersey to Mychajlo “Mike” & Lidia (Wenher) Hajdaj, Jr.

On July 20, 1990 he married Christy Moore; she survives along with 2 children, Ashley (Dustin Jonker) Hajdaj, Christopher (Joni Cantrell) Hajdaj, 3 grandchildren, Aayden, Landon and Viktor. Also surviving are his parents, 2 siblings, Nadia Hajdaj, Mychajlo Hajdaj III, numerous friends that were like family including, Scott Kruse, Bryan Watson and Brent Watson.

He was preceded in death by 1 brother, Viktor Hajdaj and mother-in-law, Shirley Spaulding.

Walter was a truck driver for over 25 years and was more recently for Satellite Suites. He enjoyed hunting and fishing but spending time with his family and grandsons was the most important thing to him.

Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
