It is with unfathomable pain that we share the passing of Zachary Michael Havens. A beloved Husband, Son, Brother, Grandson, Nephew and, Cousin. Our, brave Zach left us far too early on February 22nd, 2026, at the young age of 28.
Born on March 28th, 1997, in Elkhart, IN. Zach was compassionate, laid back, and an easy person to love. He prioritized spending time with his loved ones and staying in touch with friends. He never backed down and, fought a courageous battle against Colon Cancer.
Zach grew up playing video games with his Brothers, Cousins, and good Friends he met online. He enjoyed watching football, rooting for the Chicago Bears and occasionally attending games with his father at Soldier Field.
He will always be remembered with the way he lit up a room, made everyone laugh with his witty perfectly timed jokes and, the way that he loved his family and, friends. Zach’s memory will live on in all of us in the way we tell stories of him and, living every day to make him proud. He brought immense love, life, and warmth into everything that he was a part of.
Zach was proceeded in death by his Grandmother Nancy Mikev, Grandfather Dennis Havens, Uncle Curtis Jones and, Great Grandmother Betty Iavagnilio, who were all dearly missed family members who we are sure were ready to welcome him with love and open arms.
Zach is survived by his Wife, Alejandra Ramirez, Parents Josh and Angie Havens, Brothers Brennan (Kristen) Havens, Mason (Lauren) Havens, Nathan Havens and, his Sister Jordan Burner. He is also survived by countless other family members that will miss him dearly, including Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Nieces and Nephew.
A service for Zach’s honor will be held on March 14th, 2026, at First Baptist Church, located at 1011 South Indiana Ave, Goshen, IN 46526.
There will be an open visitation from 12 pm – 1:30 pm and a private service for family and close friends to follow.
